This will be my 18th year teaching 2nd grade at St. Charles. (It is hard to believe I have been teaching that long (I feel old) because many of the students from my very first 2nd grade class are graduating from college already)
I truly love working with the children and families from St. Charles. I enjoy sharing my faith by preparing the children for the sacraments of Reconciliation and First Eucharist.
I attended St. Charles and graduated from Lima Central Catholic in 1988. I graduated from the Ohio State University in 1993 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and from the University of Dayton in 2004 with a Master’s Degree in School Counseling.
My husband, Ryan and I celebrated our 16th wedding anniversary this summer. We have three girls, Morgan, Carlie and Courtney. Morgan is 15 years old. She will be a sophomore at Shawnee. Carlie will celebrate her 7th birthday in September. She will be a 1st grader at St. Charles. Courtney is 3 1/2 years old. She will be in the 2 day preschool at St. Charles.
I am looking forward to a fun and exciting school year!
