Scrip FAQS

Can Scrip be sent home with my child?
Only if circumstances are extreme, and you have made prior arrangements with the school office. Scrip is in the form of a regular gift certificate or cards and is not traceable. Therefore, we prefer - unless it is absolutely impossible - Scrip orders be picked up in the school office.

Is there a limit to the amount I can order from each merchant?
No! Order as much or as little as you like, just use the increments offered by each merchant. If you want $100 from Anderson's, you can either order 4 $25 increments, or 10 $10 increments.

Will I receive cash change at the store where I use Scrip?
This varies from store to store. Some will give you change in cash, others in more Scrip.

Can I use Scrip to make store credit card payments?
Not usually. However, we know for certain that you can pay on your JC Penney, Kohl's and Anderson's accounts in the store. Please do not send Scrip through the mail.

Are the merchants on the list the only Scrip available to me?
No. This list includes local merchants only. There will be a complete list available for your perusal in the school office that includes Air Lines, Hotels, and businesses in other cities that you may be interested in.

I am a local merchant. Can I participate in the program?
Yes. We would love to have you participate. Please contact Krista Swinehart at 229-2519.

How will Scrip profits be used?
Scrip profits will be used for the school only. For the 2003-2004, Scrip was able to drastically reduce the amount of the tuition increase.

Are there costs involved in running a Scrip program?
The only costs involved are office supplies and postage.
If you have further questions, please contact Krista Swinehart at 229-2519.
Although it is not a requirement, we urge you all to consider giving our Scrip program a try. It really works and we all win! Now, let's go shopping!
